This terms-of-use and privacy policy applies to the website and MTI Connexus client application offered by Montgomery Technology Inc. (MTI), or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies. Usage of the product:

Montgomery Technology, Inc. is not legally responsible for any misinterpretation, lack of understanding or lack of knowledge regarding the use of electronic recordings such as audio and video, or the use of its services by a purchaser or other party whether legal or illegal. It is your responsibility to acquaint yourself with the proper knowledge for legal use of these services.

No Guarantee on privacy of visits (Video sessions and Customer interactions):

When you engage in activities such as video sessions and customer interactions on this website, our web servers collect information about your visits. Via web server logs and our client applications, we monitor statistics, including, but not limited to:

While we gather this information, none of it is associated with you as an individual. We use these statistics to improve our service, to monitor their performance, and to make it easier for you and other visitors to use. We make no guarantees as to the accuracy, thoroughness or quality of the information, and are not responsible for errors or omissions. While the website and MTI Connexus application strive to protect the privacy of visits, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. As such, website and MTI Connexus application cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our products and you do so at your own risk. We will make our best effort to ensure the safety and security on our systems.

Real-time monitoring or recording:

Authorized facility staff members can monitor or record video sessions and customer interactions from any location. A facility staff member uses a windows applet to pick a session to monitor. GUI buttons allow the facility staff members to interrupt, select another session or quit monitoring.

Authorized facility staff members are able to see in real-time the status of users visits through a windows applet, the number of visits in progress, the number waiting, and more.

Protecting your Personal Information:

Within our application, you may be asked to give us your personal or organizational information in order to manage your account, carry out our obligations arising from any agreement you may have with us, register you for and/or provide you access to the website or services, respond to requests that you make, to improve the website or services, to better tailor the features, performance and support of the website or services, and to offer you additional information, opportunities, and functionality. We may ask for the following information, including, but not limited to, your first name, last name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, your account information, product serial numbers and control codes, credit card number, e-mail address, organization URL, or mailing address. We use a third-party payment processor (PayPal, to collect payments from you. Your payment account information will be provided directly to such third-party and the use of your payment account information will be used in accordance with such third-party's privacy policy.

We assure you that we do not provide or sell the names and addresses of our customers [site users] to outside vendors.

Our Use of Your Personal Data

The MTI Connexus applications collect your personal information for use with video visitation calls. This information is used to personally identify you to the detention facility staff. It is also used to mediate the video call. The information is collected through the "Registration" form within the MTI Connexus application. This information is stored on our company servers. It is also deciminated to the facility's server when you make a video call. The personal information which we obtain from you and store remotely is as follows:

Our Use of Your Financial Data

The MTI Connexus applications use your credit/debit card information to acquire funds for purchasing MTI ConnexPass minutes. The credit card information you provide is transmitted to PayPal through a secure connection. MTI only uses your financial information to acquire funds and does not store your credit card information on any of our servers.

Disclosure of Information:

It is our general policy to restrict who can access Personal Information and Visits Information (Video sessions and Customer interactions). They are not available to anyone other than our employees and facility staff members. Within MTI, Personal Information and Visits Information are used on a "need to know" basis only. We may also make Personal Information and Visits Information available to government agencies, regulatory authorities and/or financial services partners as required by law or as required to adequately and properly fulfill the duties included within our service. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not trade, rent, or share the Personal Information and Visits Information that we collect with third-parties, unless you ask or authorize us to do so. We may disclose your Personal and Visits Information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to requests from law enforcement or other government officials relating to investigations or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose Personal and Visits Information without subpoenas or warrants served on us; or (b) to protect and defend the rights or property of MTI, you, or third-parties. You hereby consent to MTI sharing your Personal and Visits Information under the circumstances described herein.

Anonymous Information Collected Via Technology:

As you use the Website or Services, certain information may also be passively collected and stored on our service providers' server logs, such as your Internet protocol address, media access control (MAC) address, browser type, operating system and the firmware and hardware versions that you are using. We also use Cookies and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URL) to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and the solutions and information for which you searched and viewed, or on which of the advertisements displayed on the Website you clicked. This type of information is collected to make the website or services and solutions more useful to you and to tailor the experience with the website or services to meet your special interests and needs. An "Internet protocol address", or "IP Address", is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. In some cases, your IP Address stays the same from browser session to browser session; but if you use a consumer internet access provider, your IP Address probably varies from session to session. We, or our service providers, may track your IP Address when you access the Website or Services. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer's hard drive while you are viewing a website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience with the website or services. Persistent Cookies can be removed by following your Internet browser help file directions. If you choose to disable Cookies, some areas of the website or services may not work properly. The ability to access information of third-parties from the Website or Services, or links to other websites or locations, is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such third-parties, their services, other websites, locations or their contents.


If you provide feedback to us through, we may use and disclose such feedback for any purpose, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information. We will collect any information contained in such feedback and will treat the Personal Information in it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Security and Confidentiality:

MTI has put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of your Personal and Visits Information. Despite such efforts, please note that no company, including us, can fully eliminate risks or guarantee the security of your Personal and Visits Information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of information about you at any time, and we bear no liability for uses or disclosures of personal or non-personal data arising in connection with the theft thereof.

Refund Policy:

We adhere strictly to our refund policy. If the detention facility cancels the visit for any security reasons, you will be notified and your visit will be refunded in full including the connection/processing fee. Any scheduled visit that is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the visit will be refunded after deducting the connection/processing fee involved for setting up the visit. The visitor will NOT be refunded fully or partially if he/she cancels on the day of the scheduled visit. In the event that the visitor who scheduled the visit with an inmate forgets or missed the appointment, the visit will NOT be refunded. During any course of your visit, If Montgomery Technology Inc. or the Detention facility determines that you violated the rules and terms of use, your visit will be terminated immediately and the visit will NOT be refunded. If your connection is lost due to an internet problem or any technical issues, then the visit will NOT be refunded. For any reasons, once a connection is lost, the system will not allow you to reconnect to the same session, and any such instances are deemed as lost and your visit will NOT be refunded. (MTI highly recommends all customers to ensure that their connection is consistent prior to participating on a visit).

Changes in this Privacy Policy:

This Privacy Policy is a living document. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the changes to this Policy on the Website, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what Personal and Visits Information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
